General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Constipation is a normal side effect after surgery. I recommend using over the counter laxative such as Miralax. I also recommend using daily probiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
